Potty training is like a dangerous game. You are trying to teach your kids how to properly use the bathroom but the toilet might become a fascinating place for your kid to throw objects down. Feeling bad about the strange item your kid flushed down the toilet? Don’t fret you are not alone and kids are not the only ones who get into plumbing mishaps. Here are some of the weirdest things found in a drain.
Live cannon
A house in Mississippi had a plumber find the drain clogged with what was later found to be an unexploded Civil War-era cannonball.
A Prosthetic Leg
The limb was not found in a toilet drain; instead it showed up inside the septic tank of its owner’s home! We can’t be sure if somebody pulled off an epic practical joke – but we do know that whoever lost their limb must have been beyond furious at losing such important equipment.
A puppy
The puppy was dropped down the drain by a five-year old boy when he tried bathing him in his toilet. The police rescued the poor pup and it is unharmed now.
A lightbulb
A plumber was called when a home toilet started backing up and nothing was coming out. So he opened it to find the reason why – A broken lightbulb. The son admitted having flushed it because he didn’t want to get in trouble for playing ball in the house.
A squirrel
When winter comes around animals find warmer climates indoors to keep them warm from the cold weather outside. It’s not unusual for plumbers to come across these small furry creatures inside pipes where they seem to have gotten stuck due their cravings being satisfied by eating too many nuts which lead to squirrels into trouble.
