Waterford Plumbers
Located along the Fox River, the village of Waterford was established in 1906. It earned its name from its location at a shallow point of the river where horse-drawn covered wagons were able to safely cross. As the town was established, it grew into a thriving Racine county farming community.
Today, this charming small town of just over 5,300 residents is best known for their unique community events. Waterford Balloonfest takes place each July, and features competitive hot air balloon flights and stunning night glows! Each August, the town hosts one of Southeastern Wisconsin’s only nighttime running events called the Full Moon Four Miler.
The Fox River is still responsible for bringing visitors to Waterford today. People come to go fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Nearby, you can also visit Lake Tishigan for boating and skiing. There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors in Waterford!
